So theres a game me and my fiance go to at our friends house every friday and this week is the final game with a pot of 1,800 and we really need the money. So any tips on poker? Its texas holdem and it seems like even if you get pocket aces they can end up being a waste of chips. Im going to be the lowest stack so how do you know which hands to play and when to fold?
Wow you guys can all fuck off. By the way is a 15 dollar buy in you ass fucks so thanks for the tips douches.
Wow you are a donkey..

If you “really need the money” then you shouldn’t be playing in this game with your friends. Sounds like it’s more than you can afford.
Call low pair and suited connectors. Ur gonna suckout eventually and probably get beat up. GL and never come to my house donk.
My answer is actually the truth. If you go in lets say a 5 handed pot by calling (hopefully you are in position and not under the gun) then most of the people in the hand are holding eachothers outs. That gives you a great chance to hit a low set (trips) or flush and straight draws. Those are the best hands to have with a lot of callers, but if you dont hit the flop fold because after that your betting strategy is only gonna get you beat by anyone who knows what theyre doing. GL
lol il help u i play a bit of poker , rite u have 2 c if the other players are bluffing look at their faces , watch there eyes , and only bet when u realy have sumthing if u have a pair and thats it u are going down shit creek bet on 2 pairs , 3 of a kind and bet big on flushes if its a high flush and bet big if u have full house , if u ever get 4 of a kind go all in
The main issue you are going to have is that you said you “really need the money”. You can not go into the game thinking about the money that you need to win, if you do you will start making plays that you normally wouldn’t do because this will be lingering in the back of you head and mess you game up. How many players are in this tournament? Is it a good blind structure? How many chips do you start with? You said you’ve been playing with these friends every Friday, do you have reads on them? These are just few of the things you need to take into consideration.
If it’s an MTT then you definitely don’t want to think about the money the entire time as you play. Take it one table at a time, just like everything else make small goals while you play, like if there are 40 players shoot to last longer then 1/2, then 1/2 again, next thing you know you’re at the Final Table, then just play your game.
If it’s a good blind structure, with the blinds going up slow then you have plenty of time to sit there an watch your opponents and look for good hands and optimal times to win pots. If it’s a fast blind structure, well sooner or later it will turn into a luck box tournament anyway, just look for the same situations and hope you don’t get unlucky.
The amount of chips you start with ties into the blind structure. If you start with a bigger stack, like 3K or higher and the blinds go up slow then it definitely helps to be patient. If you start with a smaller stack and blinds go up fast, just push with your good hands and hope for the best.
Also, if you’ve been playing with these same friends then over time you should of pick up tells on them. If this is so, then use your knowledge to your advantage. If you have not, well there’s not better time to start then now. If they all play tight, then loosen up your hand range a bit, if they are all loose then tighten up a bit. Watch there betting pattern, maybe they bet small when they have big hands trying to suck people in or maybe they start to get real talkative with they are bluffing. When you are folding your hands, which you should be doing the majority of the time, you don’t just sit there and stare off, this is the best time to watch them and pick up tells.
This is just a small portion of advice, there is no way someone will be able to come on here and give you some miracle piece of information that will magically all of a sudden help you win. Hopefully some of it was helpful, and don’t worry about the douchebags who gave crappy replies. Anyone can get lucky and win tonight, but in the long run the variance levels out and the players that make the the plays with positive expected value, the one’s who can read their oppoents like an open book and the one’s that can laydown those monster hands when they know they are beat, will be the one’s that come out ahead in the long run.
Hope this was helpful and Good Luck at the Tables,

It’s very easy to play short stack:
1) Wait for a big pocket pair, then move all-in
2) Play your position, then move all-in with any reasonable hand.
Good Luck!
I was going to give some advice, but based on your ‘additional details’, I imagine it would be wasted – you don’t strike me as someone who can handle constructive criticism.
