any1 just think that this small ball malarky is just like an amaetur player playing, as they make small risk bets as they know they are not strong, and as for calling for the gut shot after the flop, how much lip would u give a player who called when u had top pair for example KK, i think small balling is just a term the pro’s coined to make it acceptablle to play badly at times when they not getting good cards, you can trap easier alrite but factor in how much times u will get to do it??

I just used this method in a tourney and didn’t do so hot…….I stuck with it the entire time…. I lasted quite awhile but never hit any big pots. I think the main problem was to many real maniac players calling everything and then sucking out….That’s the problem with poker these days. To many idiots out there ruining the game for the serious players.
